Syfy has announced that Defiance has been renewed for a 13 episode third season. Defiance stars Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, Tony Curran & Stephanie Leonidas.


In the year 2046, it’s a new Earth – with new rules. Over thirty years after various alien races arrived on Earth, the landscape is completely altered, terraformed nearly beyond recognition. To the town of Defiance, on what used to be St. Louis, comes the mysterious Nolan (Grant Bowler) and his charge, Irisa (Stephanie Leonidas). As they settle into town – overseen by the mayor, Amanda Rosewater (Julie Benz) and filled with residents like the powerful Rafe McCawley (Graham Greene), enterprising lounge owner Kenya (Mia Kirshner) and the ambitious, alien Tarrs (Tony Curran and Jaime Murray) – events begin to unfold that threaten the fragile peace this border town has fought for.

Dominic Purcell has been cast as Heat Wave in The Flash series. Purcell joins his on screen Prison Break brother Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) as well as Grant Gustin (The Flash),  Robbie Amell (Firestorm), Carlos Valdes (Vibe), Rick Cosnett (Professor Zoom) & Danielle Panabaker (Killer Frost).

A few characters from Arrow including Stephen Amell (Arrow), Robert Knepper (Clock King) & Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) will also make appearances in the series.

The Flash begins Oct 7th on the CW.

Westworld (1973) Plot

Sometime in the near future a high-tech, highly-realistic adult amusement park called Delos features three themed “worlds” — West World (the American Old West), Medieval World (medieval Europe), and Roman World (pre-Christian Rome).

The resort’s three “worlds” are populated with lifelike androids that are practically indistinguishable from human beings, each programmed in character for their assigned historical environment. For $1,000 per day, guests may indulge in any adventure with the android population of the park, including sexual encounters and even a fight to the death, depending on the android model. Delos’ tagline in its advertising promises “Have we got a vacation for you!”
