The Pyramid is a ‘found footage’ Horror film directed by Gregory Levasseur. While it’s his first time directing, Gregory has been involved in the writing of other horrors including The Hills have Eyes, P2 and Mirror which were all directed by Alexandre Aja (who is co-producer for The Pyramid).
The Pyramid follows a group of archaeologists as they uncover a strange Pyramid under the Egyptian desert:

Z-Nation stars Harold Perrineau, Tom Everett Scott, DJ Qualls, Michael Welch, Kellita Smith, Anastasia Baranova, Russel Hodgkingson, and Keith Allan. Karl Schaefer will service as executive producer and show runner.

A new trailer has been released for the Australian Horror movie The Babadook starring Essie Davis, Daniel Henshall and Tiffany Lyndall-Knight. The Babadook is produced by Causeway Films, directed by Jennifer Kent (who also wrote the screenplay) and received critical acclaim at this years Sundance Film Festival.
Six years after the violent death of her husband, Amelia struggles to discipline her “out-of-control” six-year-old Samuel – a son she finds difficult to love. Samuel’s dreams are plagued by a monster he believes is coming to kill them both. When a disturbing storybook called Mister Babadook turns up at their house, Samuel is convinced that the Babadook is the creature he has been dreaming about. As Amelia begins to see glimpses of the creature herself, it slowly dawns on her that the thing Samuel has been warning her about may well be real.

Universal Pictures has acquired the film rights to Anne Rice’s “The Vampire Chronicles” novel series for Brian Grazer and Imagine Entertainment. The deal includes a screenplay for “The Tale Of The Body Thief” penned by Christoper Rice. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are set to produce.

Prince Lestat: The Vampire Chronicles goes on sale October 28, 2014 from Alfred A. Knopf, an imprint of the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group and Chatto & Windus in the U.K. Pre-orders begin March 16.
