King’s Quest: Quest for the Crown (aka King’s Quest) is a 1983 adventure game, originally published for the IBM PC jr simply as King’s Quest. It is part of the King’s Quest series of adventure video games. The story and the general design of the game was developed by Roberta Williams.
9. Sim City 2000
SimCity 2000 is a city-building simulation video game and the second installment in the SimCity series. SimCity 2000 was first released by Maxis in 1994 for computers running Apple Macintosh Operating System. It was later released on the Amiga, DOS & Microsoft Windows, followed by a release for OS/2. In 1995, SimCity 2000 won “Best Military or Strategy Computer Game” Origins Award.

Gordon Freeman is brought out of stasis by the G-Man, who inserts him into a train arriving at City 17. After arriving at the station and eluding Combine forces, Gordon joins Lambda resistance members including Barney Calhoun, a former Black Mesa security guard now working undercover as a Combine CP officer, and Alyx Vance, the daughter of one of Gordon’s former colleagues, Dr. Eli Vance.
Doom, a science fiction/horror themed video game, has a background which is given in the game’s instruction manual; the rest of the story is advanced with short messages displayed between each section of the game (calledepisodes), the action as the player character progresses through the levels, and some visual cues.
